When shall I Be Free: Inspired by God

This book of poems and writings is to inspire people all over the world to LOVE ONE ANOTHER. It is also a teaching tool for Black History classes in our school systems.This book informs us about many racist acts that occurred in our past and some that are still occurring today.This book is not designed to foster division among our people, but to help us come together as Brothers and Sisters. I feel that if we REMEMBER OUR PAST, we can then strive to make a BETTER FUTURE. We all must put away our racist behaviors, and learn to love one another. We must put away the racist behavior that has left a permanent bloodstain on this Country’s past and present history. We must continuously replace HATE with LOVE. We must replace bigotry with justice. We must replace racism with compassion. These are some of the things that this book was written to accomplish. I want this book to be a starting point for dialogue to bring an end to systemic racism and bring about justice to an unjust system. I find it ironic that a band named WAR wrote a song entitled, “Why Can’t We Be Friends”. Can anybody tell me the answer?? We all must strive with compassion to make this country live up to the true meaning of its name - The United States of America instead of The divided states of America, which is our mind set now. If we all work together, we can make this country a better place and we can make the WORLD a better place. It will take all peoples, all colors, all creeds, all Nationalities working together. Then and only then can we make the world A better place.
